Quick Transmigration: Male God, Shine Bright! Chapter 73
TN:
This is Chuzheng’s monologue.
This is system’s monologue.
This is ML’s monologue.
I’m not going to give some random side characters’ monologue
a different format.

"I bought the spirit tool." Chuzheng nodded, then
she pointed at the thief without changing face: "But this spirit tool was
stolen by him."
The thief's face changed greatly, he shouted: "I
didn't, what she said was nonsense. She killed Song Gongzi."
"You said that I killed it, is there any
evidence?"
"This spirit tool is the evidence!" the thief roared.
"It was stolen by you."
"I didn't!" The thief retorted and stared at
Chuzheng angrily: "I didn't steal it. She's lying. She's lying. She's the
murderer!"
The Song family looked at Chuzheng and the thief. Suddenly
they didn't know who to believe. Who killed their young master?
Chuzheng insisted that her spiritual weapon was stolen, and
Song Gongzi's death had nothing to do with her.
She behaved calmly, without the panic and nervousness of a
murderer.
Watching the thief yelling and shouting, it became even more
suspicious.
The Song family was uncertain, and finally decided to bring Chuzheng
and the thief back. No matter who it is, one of them must have been the
murderer.
"Girl, please come back with us. If you didn't do it,
we will apologize to you."
"No time." Chuzheng returned to the room and
intend to close the door.
The man who spoke frowned, took a step forward and held the
door: "Girl, if you want to clear your suspicions, you'd better go back
with us."
Chu Zheng retorted with a blank face: "You suspect me
with just one sentence. Can I also use one sentence to say that you are the
murderer? You are also calling a thief to catch the thief."
The man: "..."
Before the man could think out his words, Chuzheng suddenly
made a move and kicked him out.
The man flew out, broke the corridor railing, and fell under
the inn.
Chuzheng looked at the rest of the shocked Song family and
said indifferently: "I said, it's not me. I’ll kill you if you dare to
come here again."
Bang --
The door was closed, and the leader of the Song family was
kicked away. They didn't dare to go forward and went downstairs to find the
leader.
The leader was vomiting blood at this time, and everyone was
even more shocked. The girl just kicked casually. Why did he vomit blood?
The leader was livid and instructed them: "Send someone
to guard here and bring this man back first."
"I didn't do it. What did you arrest me for? It was
her. That woman did it!" The thief struggled.
When they found Song Gongzi, they happened to catch this
sneaky person nearby, but then he said that he had seen the murder weapon and
it belonged to a woman.
So they came here.
The death of the son of the Song family was a major event. The
next day the news spread and many people applauded.
Song Gongzi is a bully in Shangning City. He forcibly robbed
good people’s women and killed people in public. He only did so because he has
the Song family behind him.
There were no clues in the dungeon. They didn't even know
why Song Gongzi appeared there, so they could only conclude that the murderer
took Song Gongzi.
That afternoon, someone appeared and said that they saw
someone sneakily following Song Gongzi, and that person pointed directly at the
thief.
The Song family found out that the thief was in urgent need
of magic crystals to pay off his gambling debts. He had a motive for committing
the crime.
Some people also said that they saw Chuzheng and Song Gongzi
communicate, but after Chuzheng and Song Gongzi separated, she directly went
back to the inn.
The innkeeper and the shop assistant can testify that she
has never been out.
Although the Song family felt that Chuzheng was very
suspicious, she had someone to testify, and she had strength. So, the Song
family did not dare to do anything rashly.
In the end, the thief took the blame and became the murderer
of Song Gongzi.
-Song family-
"Patriarch, that woman is more suspicious..."
Song Patriarch's face was sullen, and he was holding iron
walnut* in his hand: "Song Li is in her hand." (TN: I have no idea
what is this. Baidu didn’t give me an answer either.)
"What?" The man was surprised: "Master? He...
Isn't he dead?"
He saw it with his own eyes! That half-human, half-demon...
The Song Patriarch did not intend to tell why Li Tang was
still alive: "The wild seed is in her hands. If she stabs this matter out,
the Song family had an affair with the demons, we will become the target of
public criticism."
The man digested it for a while: "Patriarch, are you
thinking too much? Some people may not believe what she said."
Song Patriarch: "The Song family tree attract the wind*.
Whether it's true or not, there will always be people who take the opportunity
to attack." (TN: From a phrase: The taller the tree, the more the wind
blows.)
The man's expression changed. Now Shangning City seemed to
be headed by the Song family. Secretly, I don’t know how many people want to
bring them down.
If they have an unclear relationship with the demons, even
if the Song family is innocent, they will be used by others and fall into a
state of doom.
"Patriarch, this matter..."
"If she has any plans, she will definitely contact
us." Song Patriarch said: "Send someone to watch her first. If you
have a chance..."
Patriarch Song gave him a look.
The man understood.
Song Patriarch warned: "Don't do anything if you are
not sure."
"Yes." The man replied: "By the way, Master,
the eldest lady should be back in a few days."
The Song Patriarch’s face softened a bit: "Ziyunzong
recruits new disciples every three years. Lan'er return this time should be for
this matter. Let the Song family's children prepare well."
"Yes."
-
-Inn-
Li Tang leaned against the head of the bed and drank
porridge using Chuzheng's hand.
"Do you think they believe it?" Li Tang took the
initiative to speak for the first time these days.
"What?"
"You didn’t kill him."
"If I say no, it won't." Chuzheng handed the spoon
to his mouth, and Li Tang opened his mouth slightly.
"The Song family doesn't need evidence."
"They dare not do anything to me."
"Why?"
Chu Zheng looked serious: "They can't beat me."
"..."
Li Tang watched Chuzheng cleaned up the plate. He opened his
lips but he stopped soon after.
"Just say whatever you want."
"..." Li Tang was stabbed* and simply said,
"Are you a demon?" (TN: Not literal, but more like CZ already asked
and didn’t give him a chance to not back off.)
"Right."
"..." Yes yes, no no, what does it mean?
"The demons were sealed in the underground Demon City. How did you come
out?"
"As your father came out, I came out (the same way)."
Li Tang frowned and his tone changed slightly: "You
know my father?"
His mother rarely mentioned his father, but he knew that his
mother loved his father, and she did not regret it at all.
His mother also said that his father did not mean to abandon
them, he had difficulties.
If you have a chance……
"I don't know." Chuzheng said.
"Then why did you save me?"
Chuzheng clenched her fists slightly and took a solemn oath:
"When you see injustice, draw a blade to help, and be a good person."
Be a good person, or that dog thing will… No rewind, cannot rewind! Nope!
"..." Is this person okay?
If this was said by a human monk, he might believe it.
But she is a demon, and she actually said that she wants
to be a good person. Are all good people in this world dead?
The way she treated himself before… Why did he feel that
she was deliberately rectifying him? Where did she look like a good person?
This woman is so strange...
TN:
Chinese and English language have different syntax. I could
perfectly understand what it usually meant on MTL. But sometimes, the
translated text's structure just look way too awkward. So many sentences
without proper S, V, and O (especially in dialogues). So, should I alter the
text to fit the English language better, or should I just left it the way they were
spoken in Chinese language? Just keep in mind, that a 'proper English' for me
may be different from you. I don't have the subconscious awareness whether this
sentence or that sentence is the most correct one, especially if both of them
have proper grammar. I reread them so much that they just starting to blur
together, and I just go: "Whatever :))"
Well, it won't stop me from updating.
